BWM Heatmap 

Boss Women Matter has created a map outlining the geographic study area where fewer than 20% of the residents identify their race as White. Our organization has analyzed quality-of-life indicators such as educational outcomes, access to health insurance, commute times, and violent crime rates. By overlaying race and ethnicity with these indicators, we found that there is a significant lack of resources and divestment, leading to a nexus of poverty and trauma in communities of color in Chicago.
